Yes. White City Council requires homeowners to apply for planning and building permits for any home renovation or extension projects. Supa Group have an internal team that specialises in applying for these permits. While they seek the appropriate approvals, you and our design team can continue working on your plans.
Yes, but only if we can guarantee safe access to necessary amenities. You must be able to access your bedroom, bathroom and kitchen to live at home. Depending on the nature of the project, these spaces may become inaccessible for a period, during which you’ll need to find another place to stay.
We’ll offer you a clear construction schedule well before we begin work so that you know if and when you need to leave and when you can return.
Yes, we’re always happy to consider any specialists that you trust. However, we do require they have the proper OH&S and insurance paperwork, and we must also insist that they work to our schedule to meet the completion date that we’ve agreed upon.
You can add extensions to heritage-listed and period homes in Mont Albert. There are stricter council regulations, but they are designed to protect the history and integrity of the existing building. Our home extensions are designed to fit seamlessly into the period architecture without diminishing its charm. We’re confident we can get Mont Albert’s council to approve our construction on your period home.
