Yes. To complete significant extensions on your Beaumaris home, you will need to obtain a building permit issued by the registered building surveyor. This is the last step in the process before construction begins. However, if you are adding elements such as strata tiles or heritage overlays to your property, you may also need council approval. This is called planning permission.
In most cases, it is fine for you to remain in your home while we work. However, if you cannot safely enter major areas of your home, such as the kitchen, bedroom or toilet, you will need to find temporary accommodation. We will plan carefully to ensure you are not inconvenienced during the build or house renovations.

However, we’ll ensure they meet our safety standards, provide the necessary insurance and OH&S credentials, and can deliver on the set deadline before starting to work with them.
