When we work with you for a living room extension we follow a set process where we consult with you and then engage in planning and permit approval, so that when it is time to build we know exactly how long your build will take.
In most cases, you will be able to continue living in your home while we complete your living room extension. We will discuss these factors and any other disruptions prior to the commencement of your build so that if necessary, you can make arrangements for alternative accommodation for a short period. Your ability to remain in the home during construction ultimately depends on the scope of works being undertaken.
We ensure we get your input for the building and design process, as it is important that you are 100% satisfied with the end result. We will incorporate your existing home design and features and work to ensure a seamless merge between new and existing elements.
Every living room extension is going to cost different amounts depending on the complexity of your build. As you will not generally have wet areas (such as you would with a bathroom) in a living room, the cost will be potentially less than for a kitchen or bathroom extension - but this can be addressed in a design consult. Once the total amount is set, this will be fixed unless you make additional changes once we have commenced your living room extension.
