Location: Heidelberg

The existing home was a two bedroom Victorian style home. The extension involved removal of the second bedroom to create an open kitchen / meals / family area with a feature staircase to the upper floor. The existing bathroom was removed to create a timber and plaster lined study. The existing pantry was converted to a powder room with the existing ensuite to the master bedroom completely overhauled and made more functional to suit today’s needs.

The upper storey extension includes two bedrooms, a separate bathroom, and a multi purpose room. The bedrooms are large, creating a haven for the children. The bathroom is very large, incorporating a bath, shower, toilet and double vanity. The multi purpose room provides a large play area for the children. The large picture window in this room is a focal point of the extension, taking full advantage of the views, and enhances the look of the extension.
